The Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao Centre for Healthcare Management at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) successfully hosted Healthitude 3.0, an intercollegiate healthcare management fest themed “HAULT, HUMANIZE, HUZZLE.” The event was organized by the students of Batch 20, PGDM (Hospital Management), at the Auditorium, New Building, CPC Campus, ASCI.
This day-long celebration brought together over 700 participants from 25+ colleges, including students, faculty members, and principals. The fest served as a dynamic platform for budding healthcare managers, academicians, and industry experts to engage in meaningful discussions centered around the theme “Evolving Landscape of Healthcare.”
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Reshma M Gopan, Assistant Professor and Faculty Coordinator of Healthitude 3.0. This was followed by opening remarks from Dr. Subodh Kandamuthan, Dean and Program Director of PGDM (Hospital Management), ASCI.
The event featured insightful keynote addresses highlighting leadership and transformation in healthcare. Dr Nimmagada Ramesh Kumar(IAS Retd) ,Director General of ASCI, delivered the chief guest address on Importance of Management & Leadership in Healthcare by citing examples on gene mutstin
This was followed by an address by K Madan Gopal, Senior Health Sector Expert and former Senior Consultant at NITI Aayog, who spoke on the Evolving Landscapes of Healthcare especially Digitalization in health care
A major highlight of the fest was the engaging discussions with eminent healthcare experts including Grace Achungura from the World Health Organization (WHO – India), who shared valuable insights on Health Financing for Universal Health Coverage (UHC),The discussion was further enriched by the panel coordinated by Dr Sandesh public health consultant ASCI in the presence of Dr Sravani Reddy, Founder & CEO of SOPRAV Healthcare Consulting and Group CEO of Medcy Group of Hospitals and Medcy IVF (AP & Telangana); Hrudananda Prusty, Policy Professional and Author; and Jashanjeet Singh, Vice President – Operations at IKS Health and ASCI alumni; Their diverse perspectives added depth to the discussions, offering valuable industry insights to the participants.
The fest also showcased a vibrant mix of academic and cultural competitions such as E-Poster presentations, Extempore, Runway Royale, theme dance, vocal and instrumental music be competitions, highlighting the creativity, talent, and intellectual capabilities of students from various institutions.
The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony celebrating participation, innovation, and excellence, reaffirming ASCI’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders.
