The PGDM in Hospital Management is a two-year, full-time, residential programme designed for graduates who want to build careers leading hospitals and healthcare organisations. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and has been running continuously since 1981, making it one of the oldest and most established hospital management programmes in India.
The programme prepares industry-ready professionals for leadership roles in corporate hospitals, healthcare chains, public health systems, government health units, insurance firms, consultancies and other healthcare organisations. A good hospital manager needs to understand three things deeply. The clinical world they are serving, the management tools they will use, and the Indian healthcare system they are operating within. Our curriculum is built around this principle and evolves continuously to reflect the changing needs of the industry.
A mix of fresh graduates from medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, pharmacy, nursing and allied health, alongside graduates from engineering, commerce and the sciences who want to enter healthcare. Some students come with a few years of work experience, often as junior doctors, nurses or hospital executives looking to move into leadership roles. The diversity of the batch is part of the learning.
Across all of these settings, our alumni share a common identity. They are professionals who combine a clear understanding of healthcare with the skills to lead, the judgement to make difficult decisions, and the values to put patients and communities first.
