CURRENT POSITION

Dr. Sridevi Ayaluri is an Advisor at the Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao Centre for Healthcare Management, Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad.

She teaches Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Emerging Technologies in Healthcare in the PGDM (Hospital Management) programme, and contributes to Management Development Programmes (MDPs) across the healthcare domain.

At ASCI, she heads the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) for long-duration programmes, ensuring that academic policies, processes, and standards are current and continuously strengthened. She also leads PGDM-HM placements, mentors students and faculty, and has developed the Academic Credit Framework and IQAC Handbook for ASCI’s PGDM programmes.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Dr. Ayaluri’s academic formation spans information technology, computer science, social sciences, and management a rare interdisciplinary grounding that uniquely positions her at the intersection of technology, governance, and healthcare. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology from Arunodaya University, a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from Kurukshetra University, a Master of Arts in Sociology from Osmania University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. She completed the Executive Programme in Business Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (2015).

She is a Certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and Coach (PROTOUCH, 2025), with accreditations from CPD, HRCI, and SHRM. She has also completed the NEP 2020 Orientation and Sensitisation Programme at NIT Warangal under the UGC’s Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (2025). Her professional certifications include Direct Trainer Skills (DTS), Design of Training (DOT), Management of Training (MOT), and Training Needs Analysis from the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India; Foundation and Practitioner certificates in Principles of Change Management and Managing Successful Programmes from APMG, UK; and a Training-of-Trainers programme on ICT Essentials for Government Leaders from UN APCICT, South Korea.

PAST EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining ASCI, Dr. Ayaluri served as Director (IT and e-Learning), Head of the Centre for Information Technology (CIT), and State Nodal Officer for CoMMIT at Dr. MCRHRDI, Government of Telangana (2018–2023). In this role, she designed and delivered specialised training on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cybersecurity, eGovernance, Business Models and PPP, and Change Management for state officials under the Digital India scheme. She was Course Director for the year-long IAS (Telangana Cadre) Practical Training Programme, Foundation Courses for All India Services and Central Civil Services officers, Military Engineer Services Foundation Courses, and Cyber Crime and Cyber Law programmes for judges and public prosecutors. She led India’s first international training programme at the Institute β€” on e-payments, financial inclusion, and social security for ASEAN civil servants β€” and facilitated the first-ever virtual training for 15,000 AIS and CSS officers, an initiative that received the SKOCH Award. As Nodal Officer for CoMMIT, she oversaw blended training for over 1,00,000 Government of Telangana functionaries. Before that, she spent over a decade at the National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), Hyderabad (2004–2015) as Deputy General Manager, leading the Capacity Building and Knowledge Management vertical. She drove major programmes including the CIO Rollout and Specialised Training Programmes in eGovernance (STeP), played a pivotal role in the National eGovernance Plan (NeGP) Capacity Building Project, and developed the e-Governance Competency Framework (eGCF) for Government Officials.

CURRENT INTERESTS

Her current interests lie at the intersection of digital health, technology-enabled learning, and healthcare governance. She focuses on the application of emerging technologies β€” Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity β€” in healthcare systems; Health Informatics and MIS; eGovernance and digital public infrastructure; and Emotional Intelligence in leadership and organisational settings.

Dr. Ayaluri is a Life Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI) and an Executive Member of the CSI Special Interest Group on eGovernance.
