Dr. Sridevi Ayaluri

CURRENT POSITION

Dr. Sridevi Ayaluri is an Advisor at the Dr. Kakarla Subba Rao Centre for Healthcare Management, Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad.

She teaches Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Emerging Technologies in Healthcare in the PGDM (Hospital Management) programme, and contributes to Management Development Programmes (MDPs) across the healthcare domain.

At ASCI, she heads the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) for long-duration programmes, ensuring that academic policies, processes, and standards are current and continuously strengthened. She also leads PGDM-HM placements, mentors students and faculty, and has developed the Academic Credit Framework and IQAC Handbook for ASCI’s PGDM programmes.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Dr. Ayaluri has a rare interdisciplinary academic background spanning information technology, computer science, social sciences, and management, positioning her at the intersection of technology, governance, and healthcare. She holds a PhD in Information Technology along with degrees in computer science, sociology, and fine arts, and has also completed an executive programme from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. She is a certified Emotional Intelligence Trainer and has earned multiple professional certifications in training, change management, and programme management from national and international bodies, including programmes under the UGC Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme, reflecting her strong expertise in leadership development and organisational training.

PAST EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining ASCI, Dr. Ayaluri held key leadership roles at Dr. MCRHRD Institute of Telangana, where she served as Director (IT and e-Learning), Head of CIT, and State Nodal Officer for CoMMIT (2018–2023). She led large-scale capacity-building initiatives under Digital India, designing and delivering training on emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and cybersecurity for government officials, and directed major programmes for IAS, civil services officers, judges, and public prosecutors. She also spearheaded India’s first international training on e-payments and facilitated a massive virtual training for 15,000 officers, earning the SKOCH Award, while overseeing blended training for over 1,00,000 Telangana government functionaries. Earlier, at the National Institute for Smart Government, she spent over a decade leading capacity-building and knowledge management initiatives, contributing significantly to the National eGovernance Plan and developing competency frameworks for government officials.

CURRENT INTERESTS

Her current interests lie at the intersection of digital health, technology-enabled learning, and healthcare governance. She focuses on the application of emerging technologies β€” Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Cybersecurity β€” in healthcare systems; Health Informatics and MIS; eGovernance and digital public infrastructure; and Emotional Intelligence in leadership and organisational settings.

Dr. Ayaluri is a Life Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI) and an Executive Member of the CSI Special Interest Group on eGovernance.
