Dr. Deenathayalan Aruchamy is a Professor at the Centre for Healthcare Management, Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad. He is a qualified health systems expert with a Ph.D. from TISS Mumbai, an MBA in Hospital & Health Systems Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics, and advanced certification in HR Analytics from IIM Rohtak. He is an OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor and a certified Auditor for NABH, NABL, and JCI standards.
He has served as Programme Faculty for Management Development Programmes on Healthcare Quality, hospital administration, accreditation frameworks, and HR analytics for healthcare professionals across leading institutions. He also contributes to research projects and academic initiatives in health systems governance and digital transformation.
He brings over two decades of senior leadership experience across premier healthcare institutions, having spearheaded strategic initiatives, expanded infrastructure, and elevated patient-centric outcomes across trauma care, quaternary services, and institutional resilience β consistently delivering measurable results.

His credentials βΒ MBA, M.Phil., Ph.D., PGDMLE, EHRAΒ β span healthcare management, law, ethics, and advanced HR analytics, providing a robust foundation for data-driven healthcare leadership.
Prior to joining ASCI, Dr. Deenathayalan held senior leadership roles across premier healthcare institutions including Regional Health Centre (Ontario), KMCH Group, Kumaraguru Institutions, Aster Medcity, Amrita Institute, Global Hospitals, Chettinad Hospital, and North Bengal Clinic. Across these organisations, he spearheaded strategic initiatives, mobilised large teams, expanded infrastructure, and elevated patient-centric outcomes in trauma care and quaternary services.
He has extensive experience in quality standards, accreditation, and institutional resilience β auditing and implementing NABH, NABL, JCI, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001 frameworks across hospitals and healthcare organisations. He has consistently delivered measurable results in operational excellence and healthcare quality improvement.
His current areas of interest are Healthcare Analytics & Digital Transformation, AI in Healthcare Management, Quality Management Systems, Accreditation and Benchmarking, Human Resources Analytics, Strategic Foresight, Workforce Engagement, Patient Safety, Evidence-Based Governance, and Sustainable Healthcare Infrastructure.

He holds the UGC-NET qualification in Management, affirming his academic and pedagogical credentials.
